Professional Headshots

Before the Photoshoot, I offer a telephone, Zoom, or face-to-face consultation prior to the photoshoot, where we discuss you and your brand and formulate a plan for your photoshoot, that best reflects you and your company. We discuss location, clothes, and make-up, if required, and identify a colour scheme. It is important for you to feel confident and comfortable but still portray the correct persona of you and your business.

Depending on the nature of your business you may want a look that conveys an image of formality, knowledge and trust or you may want a look that conveys a more creative, approachable vibrant persona. Black and bold, mid-range plain colours work best for a professional business headshot photoshoot. Avoid pastel colours, cream and beige as these can make lighter skin tones look washed out and weak. When discussing colours we can pick shades that not only compliment you but also fit well with your colour scheme on your website and social media platforms.

I am happy for you to bring one or two outfits for your photoshoot, but please ensure all garments are ironed and if you wear glasses, that they are cleaned. Creased garments can look unprofessional and even a small smudge or grease spot can show up on your glasses in a professionally shot headshot.

I offer photoshoots on location in your business or in the beautiful Cornish countryside. If required I can offer a professional mobile studio and lighting with a range of backgrounds to choose from.

After the photoshoot I will select the best images, which I will professionally edit. Once the editing process is completed, you can view your images in a secure, password-protected gallery in the client area of my website. From here you can choose the images you would like to keep. Your selected images can also be emailed to you directly via Dropbox or We Transfer. Prints and additional images can be purchased at a later date if required.
